A commonly asked question is what size mailing bag for my product. There is no set formula really to work out what size mailing bag you need for your products so the best option is to ask us for a sample. Having said that we have devised a formula here which seems to do the trick, give or take and is one we use all the time. We do not guarantee that this formula will give you the exact size mailing bag required, its is merely a guide
Lets say your product is Width 100mm (3.9") x Length 200mm (7.9") x Depth 50mm (1.9") To calculate the width of mailing bags required which would be the width of the opening: W + D = 150mm + 10/20mm Clearance, so mailing bag would need to have a width of approx 165mm To calculate the depth of mailing bags required: L + D = 250mm + 10/20mm Clearance, so mailing bag would need to have a depth of approx 265mm Overall approx size of mailing bag required would be: 165mm (6.5") x 265mm (10.42") + the self seal lip which would be around 30-40mm Click on " Details " to see price breaks! |
