Eco Flo Loose Fill 425 litres 15 Cubic Feet Bag x 1

The UK's No. 1 loose fill is made from gm free starch and is 100% biodegradable. Unlike all other loose fills on the market, Eco Flo is compostable (EN13432) and independently proven to offer better all round protection than polystyrene loose fill.

When packed, the odourless, white Eco Flo chips form an impenetrable barrier around the product, which prevents it from migrating to the bottom of the carton.  The chips surrounding the product provide high level shock and impact protection for your goods, which eliminates breakages.  Eco Flo guarantees this superior performance for all products; from delicate fine china and sensitive electronic equipment to heavy mechanical components.

Eco Flo is available in sales units to suit your specific requirements:

Bags of 425 litres ( 15 cubic feet bags )

Bags of 210 litres ( 7.5 cubic feet bags )

ECOFLOBOX  -  and shipping cartons of 120 litres

Eco Flo is also available in a range of single or mixed colours. Call us to discuss your specific  requirements

Eco Flo FAQs

EcoFlo may be 100% biodegradable, but does it perform as well?

Yes, if not better! Independent tests by Brunel University and the University of Humberside show that EcoFlo prevents product migration and provides better impact protection than polystyrene.

EcoFlo is made from starch. What difference does that make?

EcoFlo is biodegradable and conforms to EN13432, making it suitable for domestic or municipal compost. It will dissolve in water which eliminates the problem of littering. Starch is an annually renewable resource, not a depleting resource like petro-chemical based polystyrene.

Is the production process environmental?

Yes! We use a low energy, single stage production process, compared to the multi stage, high energy process used for producing polystyrene. EcoFlo uses steam instead of pentane gas as the blowing agent.

How will I be affected by the Waste Packaging Legislation?

Compared to polystyrene you will have a lower recycling and recovery obligation and reduced costs.

Does ECO FLO attract rodents?

No, there is little or nothing of value in either product to be attractive to rodents. If rodents are already on the premises, they have been known to nest in all loosefill products including polystyrene. The presence of GreenFill and ECO FLO will not encourage rodents into the warehouse.
