IMPORTANT CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION
The safety and well-being of our customers, staff and suppliers is our number one priority. We are continually monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak in the UK and are taking action to keep you and our teams safe. We know that your business relies on our ability to provide packaging at speed and at scale, so we’re working hard to keep our services running, safely and responsibly. We wanted to share with you some of the important steps we’ve taken: Across our business and Manufacturing Sites We are working hard to ensure that the recommended precautionary measures are in place to help prevent the risk of exposure. Since the outbreak began, we have been developing contingency plans that enable as much of our business as possible, to remain operational. This includes reinforcing best-practice guidelines on regular hand washing and providing antibacterial gels, wipes and other protective-wear, including medical gloves for picking, packing and shipping orders which are regularly changed and carefully disposed of. At our head office and distribution warehouse Right now, our business is open and fully operational. We have taken several precautionary measures to minimise the volume of people moving in and out of our premises. Where possible, members of staff are now working from home or from alternative locations. Those staff who need to come into our offices or warehouse are contacted each morning to check their health before coming to work. We are taking the progression of this horrible virus seriously but also understand the need to support our online customers with packaging. We have therefore further introduced minimised staffing levels and strict social distancing rules, ensuring our staff and working conditions follow the rules specified by our government experts whilst still maintaining full business operations. Corona Virus Living On Surfaces All stocks of packaging at our distribution warehouse, have been in stock for a period of 1 week to 3 months. Packaging which is being manufactured now and is packed into cartons or received from third party suppliers/manufacturers, is being quarantined in an isolated area for 24 – 48 hours before being made available for sale. We are also forcing a 24 hour quarantine at our manufacturing sites, before the goods are shipped into our distribution warehouse. This satisfies the most pessimistic available data on the life of this virus on cardboard and plastic surfaces. Customer collections from our warehouse We are operating a limited 'Click and Collect' service. Please follow these strict rules: 1. You must have already placed an order with us for collection. 2.
